Formal Definition
The process of establishing confidence in the medicine model. The reliability is assessed on the basis of how well important characteristics of the medicine model has been tested against in vivo pharmacokinetic data and whether adequate sensitivity and uncertainty analyses have been conducted to support the models ability to provide reliable predictions.
